ENTRY AND OFFICIAL RULES


1. CONTEST DESCRIPTION
The aims of the “C.J. Wilson MVP Award” volunteer community service contest are:
• To encourage community involvement.
• To help support individual and community growth in a positive and fun experience.
• To raise awareness of the significance of volunteer efforts.
• To stimulate young people into thinking about the value of community service.

2. CONTEST OVERVIEW
A person who is an MVP doesn’t always play sports, but that doesn’t mean they can’t rise to MVP status. A simple gesture to help others and make your community better can make you an MVP. C.J. Wilson wants to recognize our community MVPs by awarding the person with the most community hours with the C.J. Wilson MVP Award. 8 Winners will be selected for each selected contest time period (4 Adults and 4 Youth) for the Grand Prize of tickets and parking to a Rangers home game*, meet and greet with C.J, that will include an autograph picture and baseball. There will be other prizes for the top 25 contestants in both the adult and youth contestants.

* Note: Does not include travel and hotel accommodations.

3. ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open any legal resident of the United States above the age of 13. A person between the ages of 13 and 17 years of age must have permission from a legal guardian or parent.

Please note that employees of C.J. Wilson Racing and C.J. Wilson’s Children’s Charities and their immediate relatives (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, or “step” of each) are not eligible to participate in this contest.

4. CONTEST PERIOD
The contest will be broken into two time frame periods as follows: The first half of the contest opens at 12:00 am (midnight) on Tuesday, June 07, 2011, and closes at 11:59 pm on Saturday 09, July 2011 (“Contest Period”). The second half of the contest opens on 12:00 am Sunday, July 10, 2011, and closes at 11:59 pm on Saturday 13, August 2011 (“Contest Period”).

5. HOW TO VOLUNTEER AND ENTER
All Entrants will be required to register at www.leftylefty.com. By Entering you agree to receive emails from leftyleftycontest@gmail.com All organizations and community programs that the contestant volunteers hours at must be approved by the Board of Directors of C.J. Wilson’s Children’s Charities prior to hours served. The organization must directly impact the betterment of children. To submit an organization for approval please email the organizations name and mission, with as much details as possible to leftyleftycontest@gmail.com. Points earned are based on minutes served. 15 minutes of approved time will count as 1 point. The following is a list of approved organizations:

Cook Children’s Medical Center, Fort Worth TX - Volunteers are an important part of the healing that happens at Cook Children’s. Volunteers make a difference for patients and families every day through the gift of their time, energy, and talents. Volunteers serve in 60 different placements throughout the medical center including surgery, radiology, child life, registration, outpatient specialty and community clinics, and at locations throughout Tarrant County. Directing visitors, reading books, playing in the playrooms, comforting little ones, educating parents about car safety and helping in the gift shop are just a few ways our volunteers care for patients and families, making a challenging sometimes overwhelming experience better. 6. CONTEST TERMS OF SUBMISSION
All entrants must have proof of volunteer hours served and dates of service. By submitting an entry, the entrant represents and warrants that the hours are his/her volunteer hours and that no other person or entity has served those hours. Hours served must not have been submitted in any other competition or contest.

7. CONTEST ENTRY

Address for Entries:
Entrants are required to submit their proof of hours volunteered on the approved organizations letter head. The entry must be signed and approved by an officer of volunteer manager of the approved organization. Hours must be emailed to the following and received prior to the end of the contest as outlined in the contest time period:

8. SELECTION OF WINNERS
All entries will be verified. Time will be tracked and prizes will be awarded based on the rules of the contest, points for service of time awarded and time period. Winners shall be announced for the first time period on or before July 20, 2011 the second time frame winners will be announced on or before August 20, 2011. The winners will be contacted email and published on www.leftylefty.com. The grand prize awards are subject to dates selected by the Board of Directors of C.J. Wilson’s Charities and subject to change.

All winners that do not claim prizes within (7) days of attempted notification will automatically forfeit their prize. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS
The following actions shall lead to an entrant’s automatic disqualification:
Submitting hours that were not volunteered at approved organization.
Violation of organization’s volunteer policy.
Violation of rules of contest.

The Board of Directors of C.J. Wilson’s Children’s Charities reserves the right to disqualify any fraudulent entry or tampers with the entry process of rules of contest.

11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILTY AND RELEASE

C.J. Wilson’s Children’s Charities is not liable for violations of any third-party.

Winner names and official rules will be officially published at www.leftylefty.com
